Setting my WBTB alarm - it goes off directly AFTER a long dream. Okay, don't worry, just another worst oneironaut trophy for my shelf.
Now that I'm awake, let's watch a clip about lucid dreaming from the only reliable German source. He says, once you're lucid, try to do RCs such as nose pinch again and again to have a longer lucid dream.
Falling back to sleep and get lucid. I'm quite surprised. What did I learn? Ah yes, do nose pinch every 10 or 20 seconds to stabilise the dream and lucidity. So let's try that.
After around 5 minutes and lots of nose pinch tests later I'm still lucid. Can't believe this works - or MAYBE WORKS (have to verify that in my next LDs of course). I'm excited. And wake up.
Trust me, having the alarm go off after a dream is not as tragic as having it go off during a lucid dream. I'm still bummed about that. 😂 For me, doing reality tests when I feel that the dream is about to dream seemed to work when I tried it. I only got to try it in a few lucids so far, it's far from being proof that it will always work for me. But it's promising.
