Whenever I try a wbtb or the love method and set an alarm the pressure of falling asleep at the same time I do normally so the alarm goes off at the right time always gives me insomnia and I can not fall asleep until I disable the alarm. Any advice on how to overcome this mental block would be greatly appreciated.

All I can say is to try and move as little as possible, open your eyes as little as possible, and not look at bright lights and try to stay as tired as possible. Im not an expert on this but this is the advice Ive heard online.
