Updated: I had a spontaneous DILD last night! I am not sure if this technique directly influenced or led to this DILD, as there was no dream catcher in the dream. But maybe it did have an impact, just increasing my awareness the past few days and being more observant. Thought I'd share the dream report:
I saw a lake or body of water, and over it I saw a strange cloud, shaped like an atomic bomb and it was moving..."that's weird. I think I might be dreaming". I did the nose pinch, it was very slight but I could breathe a bit, and I became lucid. Then everything went dull, like the opposite of when your lucid dreams become vivid.
Then it transitioned to where it was almost like I was in this "in-between" stage of waking up and dreaming....I felt myself in bed, but then was like "nope, I'm still dreaming" and rolled out of bed and fell into a black void... (I think that was a false awakening that I was still lucid for). I was floating and flying through this void, I think my eyes may have been closed. I thought about my dream goals, but could only think of flying, going to space and one other thing. I was kind of was suspended in the void thinking of my goals. Felt my feet touch a wall behind me... maybe I was still thinking about floating in my room lol.
Then I had a false awakening, non lucid this time. I was on my bed and watched a video on my phone, and Daniel said something like "I need to remember this level of awareness, it was JUUUST right to prevent waking". Or something. Dream character logic. Lol.
Wow! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing! Sounds very interesting! Makes me wonder now that you mentioned it, the witch could of helped me become lucid a few days ago! Never even though of that!
How's the witch working out for you?
Seems to be worth a shot, something a little less time-consuming that I can do right now with my busy schedule. I'll try it out and report back!
(My "dream catcher" I made as a little kid will be put to good use!)
