Whenever performing the WILD technique I struggle to stay patient and give up after 3-5 minutes and fall asleep immediately after. Idk what the hell is wrong with me. I meditate daily and it doesn't help with patience.
I remember watching one of daniel love's streams and in it he said he sometimes practices IMP for over 30 minutes before anything happens. I was surprised to hear this, how can he do that? How do I improve this skill of being patient?
Your concentration seems surprisingly short, I would take a guess that you are under 30 and likely use a great deal of social media? Social media, especially apps like TikTok, absolutely destroy out attention span (and also have s terrible impact on self-worth, induce anxiety, and generally dumb us down). I would recommend a long term social media detox. Replace this time with activities such as reading or mindful strolls. Patience can only come with practice. But the modern world is really doesn't help with this.
