I started lucid dreaming practice about 3 months ago, and I just can't seem to get a lucid dream by DILD. I have gotten some WILD lucid dreams, 4 to be exact. But DILDs just don't happen to me. Since I really only can practice WILD techniques in the weekend I would love to have some lucid dreams by DILD.
I of course diligently fill out my dream journal, my recall is decent, at least one dream a night, sometimes 2-3. Once a week I go over my dream journal looking for dream signs.
I have 5-6 signs now, I am not the best with reality testing but I sure get to 10x a day.
I have been trying to train prospective memory testing with the method Stephen Laberge explains in his book, I'm doing ok-ish.
I've tried the MILD technique a couple of times, but that one hasn't worked for me yet.
Anyone have any more advice? Or do I just have to keep going with the practice and see the stars align at some point.
I would say yeah, keep going for sure! I think you'll want to recall 5 or more dreams per night, which is what I'm still working on, after realizing earlier this year that you can forget lucid dreams! I had one that I only recalled shortly after waking up. I was surprised that I didn't remember much from the dream at all, except that I had gotten lucid... Good luck!
