As Daniel already covered in his marvellous 30 day lucid live streams, a peg list is a powerful tool to memorise details during a dream or after waking up from a dream and being too lazy or sleepy to write it down immediately.
I thought it would be interesting to collect what peg items you all came up with. I know that these should be chosen spontaneously and coming from yourself, but to get some inspiration, I just thought collecting would be fun!
Mikka, that is the most lovely peg list I've ever seen. Now I want to draw my own in that fashion, too!😊
As you can see, I write my numbers "the german way". My 1 has an obvious diagnoal stroke, my 7 has a little additional line parallel to the top. I think the 9 has a longer "tail" then you write the 9 in the UK or US?
Mine might be a bit hard to see as I attached them to my handwriting, which, what a surprise, doesn't quite look like print. Here we go: 1: Icicle (My 1s have a fairly long beard)
2: A coiled snake
3: Bow (As in bow and arrow)
4: Chair (I write 4 in the turned-over-h-style)
5: Sickle on a washing line
6: A roll of tape
7: A sword in full swing
8: Mask around the eyes
9: A sitting dog (tilt it a bit anticlockwise)
10: A golfing hole with the flag next to it
Thanks for this, I generally followed the norm but it gets a bit hazy towards the higher numbers, probably because I hadn't settled on a clear peg and don't ever get that high up the list.
1: Pen
2: Swan
3: Bum
4: Sail from a sailboat (white)
5: Snake (I have had a couple and still have one 6footer as a pet)
6: Golf club (Don't really like this, want to change it I think)
7: Ice axe
8: Snowman
9: (Bit foggy on this so never settled)
10: A couple I know (She is rather round and he is stick thin!)
My own peg list is:
1: Pen (I guess I got influenced here ^^)
2: Swan (obvious choice lol)
3: Rick & Morty (because of Morty's mouth)
4: Piece of Cake
5: Tractor (the back tire and driver's cab)
6: Swimmer (stretching his arm and head out of the water)
7: Fin of a shark
8: Snowman (of course)
9: Snail crawling down a wall
10: Guy writing something on a blackboard (seeing his head and arm with chalk)
