A while back, Daniel had a series of shorts where he would play characters that were personified versions of things (mostly TikTok and YouTube) but one of these characters was a personification of lucid dreaming. I don't know why but, since the first short, I was really wanting to draw lucid dreaming (I think it was the personality, which in later shorts, made me finally draw him). As more shorts came out, I wanted to draw him more but I had no idea what I should have him doing. I decided on just doing a fully body drawing (as I had been doing for my own characters) of him reading a book!
I basically copied how Lucid Dreaming was presented in the shorts (and in one video). I had to come up with the shoes but everything else was sort of shown! I really liked how it turned out! It took me longer than expected as there was something throwing me off at first, but, after some tweaking, I went on ahead and finished it! Below are some progress pictures that I took. I personally like my sketches more than a finished work but I did want to challenge myself a bit with this!
Line work above, sketch below!
So, that's my post! Like I said, I really liked how it turned out! It was interesting trying to draw Lucid Dreaming as I tend to draw males with really long hair and I've never drawn plaid or this pose! Overall, quite the adventures and challenge! Thank you creating those shorts Daniel if you are reading this! Have a great day/night everyone!
This is great StumpedSlicken, thank you so much for sharing this! Loving the creativity and skill involved!
